State Tournament

The Pennsylvania Science Olympiad hosts one state tournament. Based on a percentage of teams registered at a regional sites, the highest scoring teams in Division B (grades 6-9) and Division C (grades 9-12) from each region will be invited to compete in the state tournament.

First- and second-place team winners in each of the two divisions at the state tournament will be eligible to compete at the national tournament.

Spirit Awards
At the state tournament, two Spirit Awards are presented. These awards recognize a school that exemplifies the “spirit” of the Science Olympiad Program, members that work together toward a common goal, and teams that compete while displaying honesty, integrity, and sportsmanship.
Nomination forms will be available at the state tournament.
