The Pennsylvania Science Olympiad hosts one state tournament. Based on a percentage of teams registered at a regional sites, the highest scoring teams in Division B (grades 6-9) and Division C (grades 9-12) from each region will be invited to compete in the state tournament. First- and second-place team winners in each of the two divisions at the state tournament will be eligible to compete at the national tournament. Updates - Pennsylvania Tree List (PDF)

Spirit Awards At the state tournament, two Spirit Awards are presented. These awards recognize a school that exemplifies the “spirit” of the Science Olympiad Program, members that work together toward a common goal, and teams that compete while displaying honesty, integrity, and sportsmanship. Nomination forms will be available at the state tournament.
