Students planning on a career in Pharmacy must complete a graduate-level degree (Pharm.D.) to meet certification requirements. Some pharmacy programs accept transfer students prior to completion of a bachelor's degree, while others require degree completion.
The Pre-Pharmacy program is designed to provide the academic requirements of the first two years of a pharmacy program.
Students are then eligible to transfer into the first professional year at a college of pharmacy or to declare a major in the field of their choice at Cabrini College to complete their bachelor's degree prior to enrollment in a graduate pharmacy program.
Transfer is highly competitive with most institutions requiring 3.2 in the sciences and overall cumulative QPA. There is no direct transfer. Students should indicate this major in their first year.
Students in this program have the option to select and complete a four-year major at Cabrini College.
