The Middle-Level Education program provides the student with opportunities to acquire the skills, knowledge, and attitudes appropriate for teaching children in fourth through eighth grade.
Experiences are designed to develop students' understanding of human development and the teacher-student learning process, as well as the acquisition of skills necessary for utilizing technology in the planning of effective instruction.
Attention is also given to the evaluation and preparation of curriculum materials during the field experience and student teaching assignment.
