The winner of a number of national awards for excellence, Cabrini College's student newspaper, The Loquitur, covers campus news and world news as it affects students' lives and interests. The paper is published weekly during the school year.
Students in Cabrini's Communication Department, as well as by non-majors interested in extracurricular involvement, have handled the writing, editing, photography, layout, and management of the student newspaper since it was founded in 1959.
The Loquitur has won the Associated Collegiate Press Pacemaker award, considered the highest honor in collegiate journalism.
Editorials, viewpoints, opinions, and letters to the editor published in The Loquitur are the views of the student editorial board and the individual writers, not the entire student body or the faculty and administration.
