Accounting Association
The Cabrini College Accounting Association is an officially recognized student club that educates and professionally develops students, and connects alumni with Cabrini students interested in or majoring in Accounting, Business Administration, and Finance.
The Accounting Association sponsors many field trips, hosts networking and educational events and participates in the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants Colleges & Universities student affiliate program. Past events have included field trips to the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, Philadelphia Mint and Federal Reserve Bank. This vibrant and dynamic association invites all accounting/business-related majors and alumni to share in this tradition.
Financial Management Association National Honor Society
This is the only international honor society for finance majors. Juniors and seniors who have achieved a 3.25 GPA in finance courses are eligible after taking 12 credits in finance. Bus 371 must be one of the courses taken. Induction into this honor society takes place at the Business Honors Dinner prior to the Spring Honors Convocation.
Finance Club
The Finance Club is a student chapter of the Financial Management Association. Membership is strongly encouraged for all finance majors at Cabrini and is required for admission into the Financial Management Honor Society. The Finance Club concentrates on the finance profession for students interested in or majoring in finance, accounting, and business administration. Association activities include guest speakers, related community service projects, and field trips to places like the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, New York Stock Exchange, IMF and World Bank. Sigma Beta Delta
Sigma Beta Delta is an international honor society in business, management, and administration. Its goals are to recognize scholarship and promote personal and professional improvement and "a life distinguished by honorable service to mankind."
Membership is open to Cabrini juniors and seniors majoring in accounting, business administration, finance, human resources management, and marketing. Criteria for membership include an overall GPA in the top 20 percent of all business students.
