Robert D'Anjolell became president of D'Anjolell Memorial Homes in Broomall in 1963, four years after earning a degree in mortuary science. Since it began, D'Anjolell Memorial Homes has expanded to six locations, and its business has more than quadrupled.
D'Anjolell was a member of Cabrini College's Board of Trustees for more than 25 years and served as its chair from 1995 to 1998.
His numerous organizational memberships include the Lions Club, The Overbrook Optimists' Club, Sons of Italy Main Line Lodge, Knights of Columbus, the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, the Main Line Chamber of Commerce, and the National Italian-American Foundation.
He also serves as the director of charitable and educational trust at the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania Order Sons of Italy. In addition, he was elected to the Board of Managers of the Overbrook School for the Blind.
D'Anjolell enjoys golf and his extensive (and impressive) Norman Rockwell collection. He and his wife, Maryann, live in Newtown Square, Pa. He received an honorary degree from Cabrini in 2008.
