Since February 2002, Mary Kathryn S. Burke has been the CEO at White Horse Village, a retirement community located in Newtown Square, Pa., that offers a variety of options for seniors including housing, health care services, recreational activities, arts and culture interests and a full-service wellness center with an aquatics facility.
Burke is a 1969 graduate of Cabrini College and has a master’s degree in health care administration.
She is a frequent presenter at state-wide, national, and international industry conferences.
She has served on a number of non-profit boards related to health care and her professional experience includes senior administration in acute care and consulting for health systems and senior care.
Burke holds a nursing home administrator (NHA) license and has worked for more than 25 years in the health care field. She has been an evaluator for CARF-CCAC, the national accrediting commission for retirement communities.
Her daughters, Meghan and Katy, also work in the health care/medical field.
