What Should I do if I am Concerned about a Student’s Behavior?
It is important to remember that early intervention is vital, and that trained colleagues are prepared to assist. Below are College resources available to address specific situations. - Public Safety (610-902-8245, Mansion, East Wing) should be contacted about threats of immediate violence, substantial and imminent disruption, possession of weapon
(Immediate Police response and intervention).
- Health Services (610-902-8400, Founder’s Hall, Room 86) should be contacted for medical concerns (Immediate medical care)
- Counseling & Psychological Services (610-902-8561, Founder’s Hall, Room 95) should be contacted for students showing signs of emotional or psychological distress for assessment, counseling, and consultation.
- Residence Life/Community Standards (610-902-8781, Widener Center, Second Floor) should be contacted about disorderly or disruptive behavior.
- Student Threat Assessment Team (STAT) (610-902-8410 Widener Center, Second Floor) should be contacted for behavior evaluation, threat assessment, or consultation.
