The safety of students, faculty, staff, and visitors is paramount at Cabrini College.
The Department of Public Safety protects life and property and encourages a shared responsibility for the protection and safety of the individual and the community.
Saftety on Campus Public Safety works with the Facilities Department and Residence Life to ensure the safety and security of College buildings and grounds.
Residence halls are locked 24 hours a day, accessed electronically through the College's ID-card system, and checked by on-duty staff from Residence Life and Public Safety.
All members of the Department of Public Safety participate in annual training programs including CPR, first aid, use of the AED (automated external defibrillator), conflict and crisis resolution, patrol procedures, fire safety, and more.

Emergency-Response Plan Cabrini's Emergency-Response Plan provides efficient and effective mobilization and allocation of resources.
In situations that could pose an immediate threat to the community and individuals, Public Safety uses an Emergency Notification System to send text messages and emails to students, staff, and faculty.
Alerts would also be posted online and in residence halls, the dining hall, Widener Campus Center, and academic spaces.
Annual Security ReportThe Campus Safety Act—known as the Clery Act—provides students and families with information needed to make informed decisions about safety on college campuses.
