Faculty Position in Information Science and Technology Cabrini College, a coeducational Catholic college near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where students from a variety of backgrounds come together in a close-knit learning community offering challenging academics and a foundation in values, invites applications for a full-time position beginning in August of 2013 in the Information Science and Technology Department. An advanced degree in Computer and Information Sciences or a related field and demonstrated excellence in teaching is required. Candidates should be able to teach a wide variety of courses in the Computer and Information Sciences major, as well as in the general-education curriculum, Justice Matters. Primary responsibilities include teaching 12 credits per semester, supervising student internships and capstone projects, service to the department and the college, student advising, and continuing scholarly and professional activities. Candidates with professional experience in the computer industry and who have interest in active, collaborative and experiential learning as well as in the instructional use of technology are preferred. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to the Mission and Core Values of Cabrini College.
