Part-Time Shuttle Bus Driver
Cabrini College invites applications for the position of part-time Shuttle Bus Driver reporting to the Assistant Director of Public Safety. This is a 40-week position that functions only during the academic year.
The Shuttle Bus Driver is responsible for safely driving a twelve passenger shuttle bus from campus to locations off-campus on a regular schedule. Applicants must be at least 25 years old, and possess a valid PA Driver's License with a clean driving record.
A PA CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with school bus or additional endorsements is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities
Operate the shuttle bus on a scheduled route from campus to off-campus locations, and on special trips as scheduled, in a safe manner and in full compliance with all PA traffic regulations and Department policies
Follow set procedures for checking the vehicle at the beginning and conclusion of each shift to ensure the shuttle bus is in proper working order and to prepare the vehicle for the next shift, to include checking fluid and fuel levels and replacing same as needed, cleaning the interior and exterior of the bus, reporting all needed or preventative maintenance and repairs to a supervisor, inventorying specialized equipment, performing minor repairs as needed, and securing and locking the bus; drive the shuttle bus to/from designated repair facilities for maintenance/repairs
Manage passengers in a courteous and respectful manner, to include receiving complaints about schedules and quality of service, and report all such complaints to a supervisor; monitor passengers with special needs, being alert to any signs of difficulty following prescribed procedures; and administer first aid and call for emergency assistance as needed
Oversee the loading/unloading of passengers and assure that safety belts are fastened; assist handicapped passengers on and off the bus; load and unload passengers in wheelchairs onto/off the shuttle bus; inspect wheelchairs for operational safety and permit only properly functioning wheelchairs to load; operate ramp/lift, positioning wheelchairs in the bus and securing same; regulate the heating, air conditioning and ventilation of the shuttle bus for the comfort of passengers; maintain order and proper discipline of passengers while driving; resolve disputes; and report to a supervisor cases of disruptive conduct or misbehavior by passengers
Notify the Dispatcher while in transit of any delays on a scheduled route due to traffic, weather, or other conditions/circumstances
Collect and return to the Public Safety office any passengers’ personal property remaining on the shuttle bus at the end of the shift, fill out a Found Property receipt and any other required reports or forms, and notify the Dispatcher or a supervisor
Report all accidents involving a collision and/or any damage (including vandalism) to a College shuttle bus or van immediately to the Dispatcher and a supervisor
Prepare a variety of reports/forms and maintain records, including but not limited to route books, maintenance and scanner records, time schedules, and check-out and mileage sheets
Consult with supervisors regarding transportation needs, and adjust routes as requested by the Dispatcher
Ensure shuttle bus schedules are available for distribution at all times
Operate a two-way radio
Attend meetings, programs and training as assigned
Maintain a current, valid Driver’s License
Enforce federal, state and College guidelines for shuttle bus riders
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director and Assistant Director of Public Safety or their designee
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities The Shuttle Bus Driver has a moderately strenuous job which requires intense concentration, particularly in poor driving conditions. The driver must sit for long periods of time.

Prospect Research Analyst – Part-Time
Cabrini College is seeking a part-time Prospect Research Analyst. The Prospect Research Analyst plays a leading role in identifying new prospects, providing an evaluation of giving ability, and suggesting strategies for engagement and solicitation for prospects’ specific areas of interest.
S/he responds to research requests by preparing profiles incorporating information from a review of internal and external resources; and plans and implements prospect pool development projects involving the screening of constituents by internal and/or external resources.
This includes planning and executing complex queries and reports from in-house alumni relations/development databases using demographic, biographical and gift criteria.
The Prospect Research Analyst also assists the assistant director of advancement services in developing, documenting and implementing policies, procedures, and systems that will assist in efficiently and effectively meeting research priorities within staffing and resource constraints.
Identify new prospects on a regular and ongoing basis, provide an evaluation of giving ability, and suggest strategies for engagement and solicitation for prospects’ specific areas of interest.
Respond to research requests in a thorough, timely fashion by preparing profiles incorporating information from a review of internal and external resources, including searches of online databases; telephone and personal interviews; on-site investigations; library research; public records, including estate, real estate, and tax records, stockholdings and other financial and company records; journals; family histories; and the like. Profiles may be of individual and institutional donor prospects, potential members of the Board of Managers and other volunteer leaders, and candidates for honorary degrees and other honors and awards.
Research and individually tailor executive summary documents for engagement and solicitation of prospects as well as for peer screenings, and prepare notes on key attendees at special events.
Work in collaboration with staff of Institutional Advancement to assist in planning and implementing prospect pool development projects involving the screening of constituents by internal and/or external resources to identify prospects to support overall fundraising programs as well as specific, targeted projects. This includes planning and executing complex queries and reports from in-house alumni relations/development databases using demographic, biographical and gift criteria.
Review local, regional, national, and international printed and on-line publications for information on constituents as well as trend data that may assist in determining giving ability. Ensure that information on college constituents is distributed to appropriate college staff and provided to database manager for updating and adding to constituent records and files.
Assists assistant director of advancement services in developing, documenting and implementing policies, procedures, and systems that will assist in efficiently and effectively meeting research priorities within staffing and resource constraints.
