Cabrini Now Has Single-Stream Recycling.
Recycling is now easier than ever with the introduction of single-stream recycling. All acceptable recyclables can be placed in any of Cabrini’s blue recycling bins—no sorting needed—including the small blue recycling bins in classrooms and offices. And we’re recycling more items than ever before.
The following items can be placed in any of the blue recycling bins on campus:
- all paper and cardboard
- all plastic containers (numbers 1-7) Look for one of these numbers on the bottom of the container to see if it’s acceptable.
- all glass bottles
- all metal cans, clean aluminum foil, and empty aerosol cans
The following items are not recyclable:
- food or food-contaminated items
- paper plates
- paper towels, napkins, and tissues
- plastic bags
Empty printer cartridges should be returned to manufacturers using the provided mail-in envelope.
Standard incandescent light bulbs can be placed in the regular trash. Compact fluorescent light bulbs should be picked up by the Facilities Department for recycling; please enter a Facilities Service Request.
If you have a large quantity of paper to be recycled, please enter a Facilities Service Request.
The online service request form is available at www.cabrini.edu/FacilitiesHelp.
