For more than 50 years, Cabrini College has been making headlines, receiving prestigious awards, congratulating faculty members on their exceptional work in and out of the classroom, and proudly highlighting students’ extraordinary achievements.

Jerry Zurek, Ph.D., Chair of Cabrini’s Communication Department, was named the 2005 CASE-Carnegie Professor of the Year in Pennsylvania.
Professor Leonard Norman Primiano’s multimedia documentary about Father Divine and the Peace Mission Movement was selected for a workshop by the National Endowment for the Humanities.
Danielle Alio ’12, a Communication major, earned a two-week mission trip to South Korea and Taiwan through a national contest for her video about commitment to service.
Biology/pre-med major Catherine Mageeney ’11 coauthored an article in the scholarly publication Quarterly, and was featured in a BioScience article on undergraduate research and peer mentoring.
Making a Difference/Changing the World
Catholic Relief Services awarded Cabrini College and St. Joseph’s University a grant to further develop efforts in promoting fair trade.
Cabrini’s environmental work was featured in the scholarly journal Metropolitan Universities.
